The Library Liaison Program links library faculty with teaching faculty in a mutually beneficial relationship. The program aims to foster mutual understanding and to provide a vehicle for addressing questions and concerns related to the library\u2019s support of academic programs. Liaison librarians work with the academic departments to:<\/p>\n
In consultation with teaching faculty and with other library faculty, liaisons identify specific subject areas needing development and analysis, including the level to which existing collections can support new courses and programs. Liaison appointments are made annually among the library faculty.<\/p>\n
