The campus is consistently recognized for its welcoming and inclusive environment, with a solid representation of various backgrounds, races and nationalities.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3>Marymount students took first, second, and third place&nbsp;at the&nbsp;COACH and WindowsWear&nbsp;design competition.<\/h3>\n<p><em>(February 24, 2020)<\/em><br \/>\nIn December 2019, COACH and WindowsWear announced their collaboration in a student competition for the holidays. The theme? Holiday 2030. Students were encouraged to visualize a fashion-forward campaign for COACH, fast-forward to ten years from now. Their creativity and designs were left up to their own imaginations.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3>Uncovering Catalonian History Through Architecture<\/h3>\n<p><em>(February 19, 2020)<\/em><br \/>\nTalia and Emma are senior Interior Design students who have been studying at Marymount University for the&nbsp;past 4 years. They had the exciting opportunity of going on a global classroom trip together to Barcelona to study historic preservation. This blog is a collaboration designed to describe&nbsp;what made the trip so special to them, both visually and in writing.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>Marymount ID Undergraduate Student Achievement<\/h2>\n<p>It typically takes a full-time student taking approximately 15 credits per semester four years to complete the degree program. It typically takes a full-time transfer taking approximately 15 credits per semester two (2) years to complete the degree program. The following data was collected using institutional records, individual outreach to alumni, and confirmation of job placement on websites such as LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<h3>Student Attrition and Retention<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>85% of students admitted in the fall of 2020 returned in the fall of 2021, putting attrition at 38%.<\/li>\n<li>83% of students admitted in the fall of 2021 returned in the fall of 2022, putting attrition at 29%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Graduation Rates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Of the students graduating in 2021, 86% graduated in 4 years. 96% graduated in 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>Of the students graduating in 2022, 93% graduated in 4 years. 100% graduated in 5 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Acceptance into Graduate Programs<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No students who graduated in 2021 applied for graduate school.<\/li>\n<li>No students who graduated in 2022 applied for graduate school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Job Placement Rates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>100% of students who graduated in 2021 are employed in interior design or a related profession. See note 2 for additional information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Note 1: The interior design program was unable to contact seven (7) students from the 2021 class.&nbsp;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Note 2: The interior design program was unable to contact nine (9) students from the 2022 class. Two (2) students in this class were not looking for interior design related work and are not included in the job placement data above.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Places of Employment<\/h3>\n<p>Marymount&#8217;s Interior Design&nbsp;alumni are currently employed&nbsp;at 4 of the 5 of the top interior design firms in the country.
