Thiago de Arag\u00e3o is the CEO of Arko International, a research and public affairs firm that helps clients navigate the complex and dynamic political environment in Latin America. He has a Master of Arts in Global Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and is a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a non-resident fellow at the Institute of the Americas. His research and analysis focuses on the strategic and economic implications of the growing ties between China and Latin America. He also advises over 100 companies, rating agencies, and investment funds from the US, UK and Asia on how to identify and mitigate political, regulatory, and legislative risks, and how to position themselves in the region. He has made presentations and published articles on the Brazilian and Latin American political landscape in over a dozen countries and universities in the US, Canada, Europe, and China.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
