Initiation into the Alpha Beta Delta chapter at Marymount University are held each Spring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kdp.org\/new-teacher-members\/join-kdp86\"><strong>Membership Criteria<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Undergraduates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be enrolled in an institution offering an education degree and\u00a0the intent to continue academically and professionally in the field of education;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate leadership attributes;<\/li>\n<li>Complete\u00a0at least 30 credit hours of collegiate course work;<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 12 credit hours in education course work\u00a0in progress, or completed;<\/li>\n<li>Earn a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or greater;<\/li>\n<li>Receive an invitation to membership from the Chapter at the university where you are currently enrolled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Graduate Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have graduate standing in an institution offering an advanced education degree and the intent to continue academically and professionally in the field of education;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate leadership attributes;<\/li>\n<li>Complete\u00a0at least 6 credit hours of graduate course work;<\/li>\n<li>Have at least 12 credit hours in education course work\u00a0in progress, or completed;<\/li>\n<li>Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher for all graduate coursework completed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Marymount University (MU) Global STEM<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Student STEM Chapter &amp; Organizations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Criteria<\/li>\n<li>Marymount University Events<\/li>\n<li>Uganda, Africa\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndejjeuniversity.ac.ug\/\">Ndejje University<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Newsletters\/Announcements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>School STEM Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Criteria<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nativityschool.org\/\">Nativity Catholic School<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Webinars (Open to Members Only)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Resources and Activities (Open to Members Only)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research<\/li>\n<li>Student to Student Share Activities<\/li>\n<li>Teacher to Teacher Activities<\/li>\n<li>Principal to Principal Certificate Ideas<\/li>\n<li>Instructor to Instructor Methodology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Membership Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nominal fees (payable to Marymount University (MU) Global STEM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Marymount University (MU) Global STEM<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advisory Board Members<\/li>\n<li>Panelists for STEM Certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"imageleft\">Agriculture in the Classroom<\/h3>\n<p>\u200bOver the past 10 years, Agriculture in the\u00a0Classroom provides professional development workshops and resources to pre-service teachers;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project\u00a0WILD, Aquatics WILD, Flying WILD, and Project Learning Tree provide resources for professional development;<\/li>\n<li>National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) memberships are granted to all pre-service teachers. MU-NSTA Student Chapter membership is acquired in the science methodology classes. Members of MU-NSTA Student Chapter are required to attend at least one of the three STEM events conducted annually as part of a service project;<\/li>\n<li>Population in Education, D.C.\u00a0is now partnered with Marymount University in the delivery of thematic unit plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Teachers of Tomorrow<\/h3>\n<p>Teachers of Tomorrow is a group of Marymount students who are majoring or minoring in education. The members are interested in educational leadership and networking opportunities on campus.
