Choosing a laptop that exceeds the minimum specifications is strongly recommended to ensure design software runs smoothly through graduation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Undergraduate students<\/strong> must have a laptop by the semester they enroll in ID-323 Presentation Drawings, typically in the fall of their third year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduate students (First-Professional)<\/strong> must have a laptop by the semester they enroll in ID-323 Presentation Drawings, typically in the fall of their second year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduate students (Post-Professional)<\/strong> must have a laptop by their first semester of study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Laptop Specifications<\/h2>\n<p>The IAD program requires a <strong>Windows laptop<\/strong>. Mac laptops are not compatible with several critical programs used in the curriculum and industry.
