Information For Incoming Undergraduate Transfer Students

Marymount University generally accepts credits for courses taken at a regionally-accredited institution within the last ten years and completed with a grade of C or higher. A maximum of 75 credit hours from a two-year institution and an additional 9 credit hours from a four-year institution (for a total of 84 credits) can be applied to a degree. Credit acceptance is at the discretion of Marymount University. For more information about current transfer policies, see the Marymount University Catalog.

*Important Note: All courses are subject to review by faculty within the discipline of a course. This may delay the posting of your transfer credit. It is crucial that all transcripts are submitted as early as possible so that your credit will be evaluated by the orientation and registration periods. Elective credit will be awarded as placeholder credit and will remain on your record unless or until an equivalent Marymount course has been determined.
