Marymount Global partners with staff, student groups, and academic departments to provide opportunities to explore global issues, engage with the international community, expand knowledge about diverse cultures, and develop global competencies that are essential to culturally diverse work environments.<\/p>\n<p>We engage the Marymount community online and in person. Online, we have developed two resource pages for students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.libguides.com\/globalperspective\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Education Abroad: Gain a Global Perspective Libguide Resource Page<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.libguides.com\/activism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Local Activism to Global Impact Libguide &amp; Resource Page<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every year, we also host incredible events on and off campus in the D.C. area. Keep your eyes on our Instagram and Facebook for updates on this semester&#8217;s events.<\/p>\n<p>Some of our annual traditions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly Intercultural Lunch &amp; Chats<\/li>\n<li>International Banquet<\/li>\n<li>Hispanic Heritage Month events<\/li>\n<li>Dia de los Muertos\u00a0<em>ofrenda<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Global Fall Hayride<\/li>\n<li>Lunar New Year<\/li>\n<li>International Education Week*<\/li>\n<li>International Thanksgiving<\/li>\n<li>Holi Celebrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can find this semester&#8217;s events in our Event Calendar tab.
