Formality with a Flair Cancelled<\/h2>\n

In response to health concerns related to the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Formality with a Flair event has been cancelled. We will be looking for a future date to hold the event and will post updates as soon as the date is identified.<\/h3>\n

The Ritz-Carlton\u2019s afternoon tea is legendary and is sure to impress and delight the tea enthusiast. To cap off the afternoon events, relax and enjoy a fashion show hosted by the incomparable Monte Durham. Marymount students will be modeling the latest in bridal wear and accessories from Zoya\u2019s Atelier, Macy\u2019s, Hugo Boss and the Shops at Pentagon City Fashion Center.<\/p>\n

The event takes place in the newly renovated Grand Ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, 1250 South Hayes Street Arlington, VA. Additional event entertainment will feature historic wedding dresses through the 1900\u2019s and Monte Durham\u2019s rare replica of Jackie Kennedy\u2019s wedding dress.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from the event will support the student production of Marymount University\u2019s Fashion Design and Merchandising Department annual fashion show: Portfolio in Motion \u2013 Flight 31 events. Additional funds will go to student awards, collaborative events with the Designer of the year and the student community, and several technology and educational initiatives to support students in the Fashion Design and Merchandising Department.<\/p>\n

Pricing: $95.00 single ticket and $175.00 for two tickets
