{"id":15816,"date":"2021-10-20T20:28:32","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T20:28:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/?page_id=15816"},"modified":"2023-10-26T10:55:54","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T14:55:54","slug":"test-proctoring-service","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/services-resources\/student-academic-hub\/student-access-services\/use-accommodations\/testing-accommodation-requests\/test-proctoring-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Test Proctoring Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Student Access Services is offering test proctoring services through the SAS Testing Center for registered SAS students with testing accommodations.\u00a0 Students are encouraged to arrange their accommodations directly with their faculty members, but in the event that faculty members are unable to proctor with accommodations in full, the SAS Testing Center is able to coordinate with students with accommodations and their faculty to have an opportunity to receive their testing accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>Students should arrange with their faculty members a rescheduled date and time that falls within the SAS proctoring hours. SAS Graduate Assistants and staff will proctor exams once all relevant information has been appropriately shared with our office.<\/p>\n<p>SAS is able to proctor exams for SAS registered students on the following days and times:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday 8:00am to 4:00pm<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 8:00am to 4:00pm<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 8:00am to 4:00pm<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>***Please note the SAS Testing Center follows Marymount&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/services-resources\/registrar-s-office\/academic-calendar\/\">Academic Calendar<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/faculty-and-staff\/human-resource-services\/hr-a-to-z\/holiday-schedule\/\">Holiday Schedule<\/a> and will not be opened when the university is closed.<\/p>\n<p>Students can request test proctoring services by giving the SAS Testing Center at least 5 business days notice and <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/services-resources\/student-academic-hub\/testing-request\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">completing the testing request form<\/a>. Once the form is completed SAS will reach out to the student&#8217;s faculty member to confirm the information, collect the examination and necessary instructions.<\/p>\n<div id=\"accordion\" class=\"panel-group accordion\">\n<p><!-- End of the first accordeon --><\/p>\n<p>Faculty and students are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not required<\/span> to use the SAS exam proctoring service. SAS offers exam proctoring as a courtesy to faculty and students. Faculty who wish to coordinate the proctoring of accommodated exams independently of our service are expected to implement approved accommodations in full.
