Inspired by punk\u2019s history of self-expression, individuality, and breaking traditional fashion rules, the runway will showcase bold silhouettes, edgy details, and innovative styling that reflect how punk continues to evolve today. He later received his Master of Business Administration in Strategic Marketing from Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>During his time at Marymount, Jeffery served as Vice President of the Black Student Union and was an active member of the Fashion Club. He also contributed to Portfolio in Motion as a backstage coordinator and served as a Student Ambassador, where mastered the art of walking backwards. In his senior year, he was selected as Head Chair for Voyage to Utopia, demonstrating early leadership in creative direction and event production while guiding the show to one of its most successful years.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffery currently serves as Vice President of Visual, Americas at Gucci, bringing over a decade of experience in the global fashion industry. Prior to Gucci, he\u2019s held similar roles in visual merchandising and special projects at Prada, Zara, and Louis Vuitton. In his current role, he leads the development and execution of visual strategy across the Americas, overseeing in-store displays, window installations, and large-scale visual activations.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Jeffery has collaborated with cross-functional teams on a range of high-profile partnerships and activations, including projects with Dapper Dan, the Louis Vuitton America\u2019s Cup, The North Face, and Prada Reporter. His work is defined by a commitment to innovation, cultural storytelling, and collaborative design, drawing inspiration from the intersection of fashion, art, and community.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffery remains deeply committed to service and mentorship, actively volunteering within his local community and church, supporting charitable initiatives, and guiding emerging fashion professionals as they transition from academic life into their careers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>ABOUT PORTFOLIO IN MOTION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Portfolio in Motion is Marymount University\u2019s premiere fashion event for students in the <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/college-of-business-innovation-leadership-and-technology\/school-of-design-and-art\/undergraduate-programs\/fashion-design-b-a\/#gsc.tab=0\">Fashion Design<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/college-of-business-innovation-leadership-and-technology\/school-of-design-and-art\/undergraduate-programs\/fashion-design-b-a\/#gsc.tab=0\">Fashion Merchandising<\/a> programs.<\/p>\n<p>Portfolio in Motion is the culminating academic project for both programs. Every aspect, from the jury-selected student designs and models to the show\u2019s production on the Marymount campus, reflects their academic and creative efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Each year the show features inspired creations designed by Marymount fashion design students and alumni.
