We are excited for you to start your education at Marymount University! If you are a student with a valid F-1 student visa and you currently hold a Form I-20 from another U.S. institution, you must arrange for the electronic transfer of your SEVIS record from your previous school to Marymount University and obtain an “Transfer Pending” I-20 from Marymount.<\/p>\n

REQUEST A TRANSFER PENDING I-20<\/h3>\n

Steps to request a Transfer Pending I-20 issued by Marymount University:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Confirm online through your admission portal that you plan to attend Marymount University and pay the enrollment deposit. Read your admission information for instructions.<\/li>\n
  2. Wait 3-5 business days for your enrollment deposit to clear. Your enrollment deposit must clear before you will be able to establish your student accounts and MU credentials.<\/li>\n
  3. Create your\u00a0Marymount student accounts<\/a>. If you are creating your accounts while out of the U.S. and you do not have a U.S. phone number, the Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) recommends that you select the Okta App option for two-factor authentication. Do not use a non-U.S. phone number when signing up for two-factor authentication.<\/li>\n
  4. You must already have an activated Marymount student ID and email account before you will be able to proceed with the online I-20 request process. If you have difficulty establishing your Marymount student email account, contact its@marymount.edu for assistance; include your student ID.<\/li>\n
  5. Once your Marymount student email account is established, the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) will invite you to request your I-20 through the online ISSS portal. You will be contacted through your Marymount student email account.<\/li>\n
  6. Follow the instructions sent from ISSS to your Marymount student email account.\u00a0<\/strong>Log in to the ISSS portal to answer all questions within the online form, including providing your non-U.S. address, city of birth, etc.\u00a0 Upload required documents through the \u201cCreate I-20\u201d request:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
