We have partnered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.edu\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.law.edu\/\">Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law<\/a> to offer a unique opportunity for our students to obtain a <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/college-of-business-ideation-leadership-and-technology\/school-of-business\/undergraduate-programs\/economics-in-society-b-a\/\">BA in Economics<\/a> from Marymount and receive a direct admission to CUA Law.<\/p>\n<p>Students who pursue this path, and who meet completion requirements, may accelerate their graduation from Marymount and enter CUA after completion of three years of undergraduate study. We call this accelerated program opportunity the \u201c3 + 3 Advantage.\u201d&nbsp; The 3 + 3 Advantage allows our graduates to enter the work force as skilled lawyers quicker than traditional approaches, and to save scarce tuition dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility for the 3 + 3 Advantage<\/p>\n<p>Marymount students who are pursuing a BA in Economics are eligible for direct admission to CUA Law under the 3 + 3 Advantage if they have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed at least 90 credit hours of credit in required Marymount classes.\n<ul>\n<li>Earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 during that period.<\/li>\n<li>Remained in good academic standing and disciplinary standing during that period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Scored above the 66th percentile in the Law School Admission Test.<\/li>\n<li>Met all of the fitness, character and other criteria for admission CUA Law requires for all entrants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Priority entry to CUA Law for Marymount Graduating Students<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the 3 + 3 Advantage, CUA Law offers Marymount students eligibility for direct admission to CUA Law after completion of their undergraduate studies at Marymount if they have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed the necessary requirements to graduate from Marymount.\n<ul>\n<li>Earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 during that period.<\/li>\n<li>Remained in good academic standing and disciplinary standing during that period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Scored above the 66th percentile in the Law School Admission Test.<\/li>\n<li>Met all of the fitness, character and other criteria for admission CUA Law requires for all entrants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marymount.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/11\/img_5fa575c590b6a.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law stands at the intersection of business and society, and experience shows that the best lawyers are those who understand both.
