The Office of the Registrar supports students with these services by providing letters or documents required by your sponsors.<\/p>\n<p>Types of letters students may need for their sponsors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tutoring Letter<\/li>\n<li>Conference Letter<\/li>\n<li>Expected Graduation Date Letter<\/li>\n<li>Enrollment Verification<\/li>\n<li>Schedule Print-Out<\/li>\n<li>Degree Completion Letter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>SACM Sponsored Students<\/h2>\n<p>Students sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission have specific requirements, deadlines, and procedures. Please check the chart below to make sure you are meeting SACM&#8217;s requirements<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>First-Year &amp; Graduate Students<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Transfer Students<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Current Students<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>First-Year &amp; Graduate students will not need letters in the 1st semester but will require degree letters and transcripts starting their 2nd semester.<\/li>\n<li>Remember to request a Marymount I-20 by uploading the required documents to the ISSS portal as soon as possible since your sponsor may ask for a copy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit your original transcript from your previous school<\/li>\n<li>Contact the <a href=\"mailto:sponsored.students@marymount.edu\">Sponsored Students email<\/a> in order to request your first Degree Certification letter<\/li>\n<li>Upload the documents in to your SACM Portal<\/li>\n<li>Remember to request a Marymount I-20 by uploading the required documents to the ISSS portal as soon as possible since your sponsor may ask for a copy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<ul>\n<li>Register for the semester in the priority dates<\/li>\n<li>Request your degree certification letter and transcripts from <a href=\"mailto:sponsored.students@marymount.edu\">The Sponsored Students email<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Upload your documents on the SACM Portal<\/li>\n<li>Submit your SACM financial guarantee to sponsored Students and student accounts in order to have financial holds removed at MU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Make sure you request the documents before the end of the semester so that you can obtain a Financial Guarantee from your sponsor in a timely manner<\/p>\n<h3><b>How to make a request for documents for Sponsored Students.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Email your request to: <a href=\"mailto:sponsored.students@marymount.edu\">sponsored.students@marymount.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Phone number: 703-284-1520<\/p>\n<p>For more details about certification letters and frequently asked questions visit the sponsored students website at the Registrar office <a href=\"https:\/\/marymount.edu\/academics\/services-resources\/registrar-s-office\/sponsored-students\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International students who are sponsored by an embassy, ministry, cultural mission or government, regardless of their visa type, require various certifications in order to request or maintain their scholarship.
