The student-teaching internship covers 14 weeks, Monday through Friday in the last semester of the program. Students are placed in a variety of school settings including public, private, Catholic, or independent schools in the greater Washington, DC, area. Students may request the school division in which he or she wants to student teach.<\/p>\n

Out-of-area student teaching placements are available and may be arranged by the Office of Education Clinical Experiences. Students may also student teach abroad. Placements are currently available in Panama, Colombia, Uganda, or New Zealand.<\/strong><\/p>\n
