Congratulations to all Marymount University Graduates!<\/h2>\n

Important Information for All Attending a Commencement Ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tickets<\/strong><\/h3>\n

All Commencement celebrations being held in DAR Constitutional Hall are ticketed events. Graduating students do not need a ticket, however each guest<\/strong> who attends will need their own<\/strong> ticket. Tickets for all events will be available through the graduates’ College Office during the last week of class (April 27 – May 1). Tickets are not transferrable across ceremonies. Numbers of tickets for each ceremony are calculated according to the seating capacity of the venue and the number of graduating students at each ceremony.<\/p>\n

Each graduating student attending the Undergraduate ceremony (May 17, morning) may receive 8 tickets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each graduating student attending the Graduate ceremony (May 17, afternoon) may receive 6 tickets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Each student attending the Hooding ceremony (May 16, afternoon) may receive 12 tickets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ordering Regalia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Students may now order their regalia through Herff Jones through this LINK<\/a>. You may also purchase announcements and diploma frames through the same link.<\/p>\n

For best shipping prices,\u00a0<\/i>order by April 18, 2026<\/strong>, at 11:59 pm. The last day to place your order is April 27, 2026<\/strong>, at 11:59 pm. Please allow two to three weeks for shipping and receipt of regalia. You will receive tracking information in the email you provided on your order once the items ship.<\/p>\n

Please open the package upon receipt and try it on to ensure a proper fit and that you have received all necessary items.<\/p>\n

The Bookstore will be hosting a graduation fair on April 8th<\/strong>. \u00a0Caps and gowns and diploma frames will also be available for purchase. A grad images photographer will be on site to take headshots and graduation formal photography. <\/span><\/p>\n

Doctorate level students must order regalia through the Herff Jones link, it will not be available in the bookstore<\/span><\/p>\n

Arrival Time<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0Doctoral Hooding Ceremony<\/strong> (May 16) will start promptly at 4:00pm. Students should arrive at 3:00pm\u00a0<\/b>to allow for check-in and for guests to be seated. Doors will open at 3pm for all guests.<\/p>\n

The Undergraduate Commencement<\/strong> Ceremony<\/strong> (May 17) will start promptly at 10:00 am<\/strong>.\u00a0 Graduating students should arrive at DAR Constitution Hall, Washington DC by 8:30am<\/b> to allow for student check-in. Doors will open at 9:00am<\/strong> to allow guests to be seated prior to the start of the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The Graduate Commencement<\/strong> Ceremony<\/strong> (May 17) will start promptly at 2:00pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 Graduating students should arrive at DAR Constitution Hall, Washington DC by 12:30pm<\/b> to allow for student check-in. Doors will open at 1:00pm<\/strong> to allow guests to be seated prior to the start of the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Please note that other universities will also be hosting commencement ceremonies in downtown Washington, D.C. on the same day. We strongly encourage guests to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel and parking.<\/p>\n

Parking:<\/h4>\n

Street parking is available in surface spots throughout the area. Many metered spaces are free on Sundays; however, availability may be limited.<\/p>\n

There are parking garages located near DAR Constitution Hall on New York Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue, and along 17th and 18th Streets. Guests may also reserve parking in advance through Colonial Parking<\/a>, which offers event parking options near DAR Constitution Hall.<\/p>\n
