Delario

Interim Director: Delario Lindsey

Dr. Delario Lindsey currently serves as a Continuing Instructor in the Sociology program at Marymount University and as the Academic Director of the Global Scholars Program. As the Center for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’s inaugural director, Dr. Lindsey will work to deepen the university’s commitment to promoting diversity and equity across the university and strengthening ties with diverse communities across the Greater Washington, D.C. area.  Most importantly, the center will work to ensure that all Marymount students feel safe, accepted, included, needed, treasured, and seen.  Go S.A.I.N.T.S!!

Charlie McCall

Charlie (Charlene McCall) is from the greater Largo area of PG county, Maryland came to MU as a freshman in fall 2017 and is currently pursuing a major in psychology. Charlie was a member of the Black Student Association and MU DREAMers executive boards 2018-2020 and a student worker at our Interfaith office 2019-2020. In her youth, she frequently volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity (now Fuller Center) thrift shop in North Brentwood, MD. Charlie oversees research and new initiatives at the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She hopes that these initiatives will celebrate the legacy of DEI efforts at MU and communicate the value of future DEI collaborations in building student support systems as an integral part of Marymount’s growing commitment to serving its diverse population.
