Get to Know Our Staff:

Joseph Gebbie, MPS, MSEd

Director for the Center for Career Development

Joseph Gebbie currently serves as the Director for the Center for Career Development. He comes with nearly two decades in higher education primarily in career development. Joseph holds two Masters of Science in Education (Counseling/Higher Education Administration) from Hofstra University, a Master of Professional Studies in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from St. John’s University.  He is passionate about helping students achieve post-graduate success by starting career exploration early in college and following through to the first opportunity.

Emily Kane Dombrowsky

Assistant Director for Student Employment

Emily Kane Dombrowsky currently serves as the Assistant Director for Student Employment. She comes with extensive experience in higher education spending the last 13 years serving students in the areas of campus ministry, student conduct, health promotion and education, and now Career Development. Emily earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Music from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. She then earned a Masters of Education in Counseling and Higher Education Administration from Clemson University in South Carolina. She’s passionate about serving students and supporting them as they navigate the college experience and the transition to young adulthood.
