Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

The Center for Career Development is passionate about creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that empowers students of all backgrounds to achieve their career goals and aspirations. With a highly diverse student population and the title of the first Hispanic Serving Institution, our diversity is a source of strength. We are committed to ensuring that all community members we work with including students, alumni, and employers are S.A.I.N.T.S—Safe, Accepted, Included, Needed, Treasured, and Seen. We aim to achieve this goal through engaging in diversity programming for specifically identified underserved populations and creating tailored career development opportunities that reflect representation, multicultural awareness, and intersectionality. No matter your background or identities, we hope that you feel empowered and equipped with the tools you need to succeed during your time at Marymount and beyond.
