Anne Maschino is the Associate Director for the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). She is responsible for the operation of the ISSS office and serves as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO), which includes supervision of international student advising on a wide range of issues and managing the processing of immigration related matters. Anne grew up in Asia and Africa, and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. as well as to the South Pacific, Central America, and Europe. She has a Master’s degree in Pacific Islands Studies with a focus on economic development. Anne joined the ISSS team in September 2023.
Sayaka Isoda

Sayaka Isoda is the International Student Advisor for the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). She serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) and the Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO). She is responsible for advising international students and processing a variety of immigration requests and issues. Sayaka is originally from Japan, and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring the DMV area and trying new food! Sayaka joined the ISSS team in January 2024.
Tsatsa is an international student from Mongolia. This is her third year at Marymount University, pursuing a dual degree for a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration. Before entering Marymount, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Medical doctor and a master’s degree in Business in Mongolia. As an international student herself, she is very passionate about student advising and advertising internationalization at Marymount. In her spare time, she likes to draw and spend quality time with her family. Tsatsa joined the ISSS team in January 2023.
Mohamed is an international student from Tunisia. This is his second year at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, pursuing a Master of Business Administration. Before entering Marymount, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s in Entrepreneurship in Tunisia. As an international student, he is very passionate about student advising and advertising internationalization at Marymount, in addition to speaking Arabic and French. He likes going to the gym, hiking, and traveling in his spare time. Mohamed joined the ISSS team in May 2023.
Nomin is an international student from Mongolia. She is a sophomore at Marymount pursuing a degree in Economics. She is very happy to help her peer international students in the ISSS department. You can catch her at the school library when she’s not in class or working in the ISSS office. Nomin joined the ISSS team in December 2023.
