Summer Reading & Fall Discussion
MU’s Inclusion Network is a group of students, staff, and faculty working to make MU a more inclusive community.
To foster an environment of learning and dialogue at MU that moves our inclusion work forward, we plan to read these books this summer:
- How To Be An Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi
- All Boys Aren’t Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto by George M. Johnson
- We Have Always Been Here: A Queer Muslim Memoir by Samra Habib
- White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo.
We will have separate book discussions on each of these books in the fall, and we welcome you to join our network and read one (or more) of these books this summer in order to participate in one of our book discussion groups in the fall.
To join our network (and to see a list of member responsibilities), please click here.
If you are doing the reading, please complete this google form by 7/31/20 to indicate which book(s) you are reading and whether you would be willing to be a book group discussion leader in the fall.
