Current Students Application Process

For current or returning undergraduate students who have lived on campus before and wish to live on campus the following year, the housing lottery and room selection process is the primary method to secure rooms, choose roommates, and select a meal plan. This process occurs in the spring of each year, allowing students to finalize their housing arrangements before the summer break. Early spring will bring instructions and guidelines outlining the process in detail. It is important to note that there is a mandatory 4-year live-on requirement, which means all students are required to live on campus for the duration of their undergraduate studies.  If a student misses the lottery or applies after the deadline, they can still submit an application and follow a separate process to be assigned a room based on availability. It is important to stay informed and participate in the lottery to have the best chance of securing preferred housing options.

To complete the housing application for Marymount University, you will need to use your Marymount login credentials (username and password) to access the Housing Portal:

  1. Go to https://my.marymount.edu/Home and click on the “Login” button.
  2. Enter your Marymount University username and password.
  3. Look for the “Sign on Links” menu and choose “Housing Portal”.
  4. Click on “Returning Student Application: Fall 2024-Spring 2025”.
  5. Scroll down and complete each section of the application.
  6. Use the “Save & Continue” button to proceed to the next page.
  7. Use the progress bar at the top to track your progress and make changes if needed.
  8. Review your information and make sure it’s accurate.
  9. Click on “Save & Continue” or “Submit” to finalize and submit your application.

The Portal pages have been designed with a focus on user-friendliness, ensuring that you can navigate through the application with ease. It is important to carefully read and complete all the information in each section before proceeding to the next step. Remember to click “Save & Continue” located at the bottom of each page. At the top of the application, you will find a progress bar that displays the steps involved. This progress bar allows you to go back to a previous step and make any necessary changes before confirming and submitting your application.
