Mass of the Holy Spirit Sacred Heart of Mary Chapel A tradition at many Catholic colleges and universities, this event is an opportunity for the campus community to come together in prayer and thanksgiving for the start of a new academic year. The Most Reverend Paul S. Loverde, Bishop of the Diocese of Arlington, is the celebrant. All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. To facilitate participation by the campus community, morning classes will dismiss at 11 a.m. and resume at 2 p.m. on this day. All are invited to lunch in the Gerard Dining Hall immediately following the Mass.
