The Student Health Center is closed during the summer.
In case of an emergency, contact the Resident Assistant or the Resident Director on duty through Campus Safety at Ext. 1600. Duty schedules are posted on the RAs bulletin boards. If a student is in acute distress, call 911 and then notify Campus Safety. If an emergency room visit is required but there is no serious distress, contact an RA/RD who will arrange for transport to Virginia Hospital Center-Arlington. The hospital is located at 1625 N. George Mason Drive. To reach the hospital from campus, take North Glebe to Lee Highway and turn right. At the second traffic light, turn left onto N. George Mason Drive. The hospital will be on the left side of the street, three blocks from the intersection of Lee Highway.
