Lector
Lectors proclaim the Sacred Scriptures, the Word of God to the gathered community. Through preparation and study of scripture, lectors help facilitate “active listening” to the Word.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
Lay ministers, prayerfully chosen from among our student leaders, help with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass. All EMHCs are commissioned for service to the Marymount community for the duration of their studies here.

Mass Coordinator
Mass Coordinators facilitate the prayer of the community by scheduling, coordinating, recruiting, and mentoring liturgical ministers. They assist with preparing the needed materials, books, and supplies for liturgy. These students serve as part of the student team of Campus Ministry.

Altar Server
Servers assist the priest, bearing the cross in procession, and fulfilling other roles in the liturgy.

Chapel Choir Member
Singers and instrumentalists lead the sung prayer of the assembly at our campus liturgies. Learn more about the Music Ministry.

Usher and Greeter
Welcoming people to Sunday Mass, handing out the Order of Worship, and taking up the Mass collection and other important tasks require kind and generous individuals each week.
