Kate Leet

Kate Leet joined the Office of Campus and Residential Services as a Residence Director in June 2011. Kate’s educational background consists of a M.S. in College Student Personnel Administration from CanisiusCollege and a B.S. in Communications and English from the State University of New York at Brockport.

Kate’s role is to provide programs, services, and support for residential students. In her role Kate supervises and provides leadership development opportunities for the Assistant Residence Directors and Resident Assistants. An important aspect of Kate’s job is to provide mediation, counseling, and resources to students in crisis, to serve as a hearing officer, and to coordinate the Resident Assistant selection process. Kate also advises RHA, the Residence Hall Association.

Kate brings experience from leadership development, student activities, residence life, first-year experience, and Greek life. Prior to Marymount, Kate worked at California State University, Chico and CanisiusCollege. Outside of Marymount Kate is an adviser at her sorority’s chapter at GW. Kate loves going to Capitals and Nationals games, traveling, and taking in all the opportunities DC has to offer.
