Dr. Hai Huang received her M.B.A. and M.S. in Statistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and her Ph.D. in Finance from Duke University. Her research interests include corporate finance, behavioral finance, and small business finance. Her research paper, "Investor Competence, Trading Frequency, and Home Bias," was published in Management Science.
Prior to joining Marymount, Dr. Huang worked at a leading economic and litigation consulting company. She has worked on a variety of cases including valuation of complex financial instruments, evaluation of firm viability, valuation of pension benefits, and damage assessments in securities class actions.
