Dr. Hanora O’Sullivan’s interests in quality and productivity have led her to become a Virginia-based Baldrige Examiner, and she was invited to join the U.S. Baldrige examiners in 2009.
Her expertise in student learning outcomes assessment continues to lead to numerous conference and workshop presentations, articles, and pro-bono consultancy opportunities. Her ongoing focus on international management issues as well as her love of travel have resulted in investigations in more than 70 countries and have yielded both articles and innumerable course modules. During a sabbatical, she conducted research on comparative quality assurance standards between the United States and the European Union.
Dr. O’Sullivan has served in national leadership positions for the specialized business program accrediting agency, the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This includes serving on its Board of Commissioners and its Board of Directors. She currently serves on ACBSP’s international Strategic Planning Committee.
In 2007, she was awarded the Wal-Mart International Teaching Excellence Award. She is a past nominee of the Virginia State Teacher Award, as well.
