Advice: Come to college with an open mind. Know that things following high school are much different, and while it seems scary there are many resources and people to help you along the way
Three Important Items to have: An open mind. Family photos. You favorite thing that helps you get away from stress
Why MU? I chose MU because it's a small tight knit community much like the high school I went to. Also you can't beat the fantastic location

Why MU? I choose to come to MU because of the specific major I was interested in, Criminal Justice/Forensic Science. Secondly, because MU is close to my original home in Ashburn. Thirdly, because of the spiritual environment it has.

Why MU? Looking at MU online, I was excited about their successful Nursing program and the location. Once I made the trip down, I enjoyed my tour around campus. In the end, those three things made me choose Marymount.

Advice: Time management is crucial and don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and meet new people by getting involved in activities that you would not normally do

Why MU? I chose Marymount because I love the area. There are endless opportunities here in the DC area and also it is a smaller school so I can get the one-on-one attention in the classroom

Advice: You are going to meet a lot of new people, and make a lot of independent decisions, but always be yourself and don’t change for anyone!

Why MU? I chose to come to Marymount because I liked the small community feel to it. Everyone pretty much knows everyone and it is a very comfortable setting. Even if Marymount is small, it is next to a huge city where college kids are everywhere.

Why MU? Coming from a VERY small down in the Midwest I wanted to experience the big city life. I had visited the DC area my junior year of high school. I started to look for smaller schools in the DC area where I could play vollyeball. I found Marymount and fell in love.
Favorite Place on Campus: Training room, as an athlete I spend many hours in there before and after practice and games. It's always a good place to go to get a laugh!
