Women’s Basketball Drops Road Contest

Union, N.J. – Marymount University’s women’s basketball team fell 57-45 to Kean in non-conference action on Tuesday night. The Saints drop to 3-8 overall on the season.

Katelyn Fischer led the Saints with a game-high 14 points while Julie Tomesheski and Tynisha Parks added seven points each. Dominique Dickens pulled down a game-high eight rebounds and Fischer grabbed seven boards.

A back-and-forth first half saw multiple lead changes through the first 12 minutes of the game. The Saints kept things close, keeping it a two possession game until the Cougars (9-2) pulled away courtesy of an 11-0 run early in the second stanza.

Danielle McFadden led Kean with 11 points while Noel Mathis added 10.
