Thursday, October 14, 2010
Bridgewater, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team shutout its second opponent of the season with a 2-0 victory over Bridgewater (Va.) on Thursday. The win is the fourth in the last six games for the Saints.

Philippe Millogo notched the game-winner in the 17th minute, heading home a corner from Carlos Salinas at the 16:17 mark. Adam Freitas added the cushion goal late in the 73rd minute, taking a pass from Meceal Getachew and beating the keeper to put the game away.

Saints (6-7-2) goalkeeper William Brahmstedt earned the shoutout win, saving the only shot the Eagles (2-9-2) managed on goal.

Marymount returns to action on Monday, October 18, at St. Mary’s (Md.) in Capital Athletic Conference competition.
