Arlington, Va. – Marymount University’s women’s lacrosse team is putting on a fundraiser to support the Gavin Quigley Scholarship Fund in an effort to raise money for the surviving son of Seton Hill University women’s lacrosse coach Kristie Quigley. The Saints are selling “Play 4 Seton Hill” t-shirts with proceeds going to help with Gavin’s living expenses and education.
On Saturday, March 16, Seton Hill University women’s lacrosse coach Kristie Quigley died in tragic a bus accident on the way to coach a game for the Griffins. Also lost in the crash were Quigley’s unborn son and the driver of the bus, Anthony Guaetta.
Following the accident, members of the Marymount University’s women’s lacrosse team created “Play 4 Seton Hill” to remember a coach who died on the way to coaching a game she loved and support the Seton Hill lacrosse team in their time of grief.
