Men’s Swimming Falls to Visiting Salisbury

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s swimming team dropped a 117-88 decision to visiting Salisbury in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Saints fall to 0-3 overall and in league play.

Marymount won the opening relay on the day as Matt Essig, Joseph Gardner, James Gibbons and Robert Klazynski won the 400 medley relay.

Collin Chartier claimed victory in both distance events, winning the 1000 and 500 freestyles while placing second in the 200 free.

Will Bryan won the 100 breaststroke while Gardner added a victory in the 200 IM and a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke.

Marymount returns to action next Saturday in its first road meet of the season at Randolph-Macon.
