Cross Country Competes Individually at Goucher
Baltimore, Md. – Marymount University’s men’s and women’s cross country runners competed as individuals at the Goucher Invitational on Saturday. Freshman Jessie Daley finished seventh on the women’s side while Mike Dalrymple was the Saints’ top men’s finisher finishing in 49th place.
Daley’s 25:26 time in the 6k race was the top of all Capital Athletic Conference runners at the meet. Also competing for the Saints, Rachael Raske finished 62nd at 28:54, Meryem Noucair was 91st at 32:13 and Summer Penrose placed 99th with a time of 33:45.
On the men’s side, Dalrymple’s 30:37 in the 8k paced the Saints while Mark Flores was right behind him in 59th place at 31:09. Rounding out the Marymount runners, Udit Bhatnagar was 93rd with a time of 33:48 and Kevin Farmer was 108th at 36:39.
The Saints return to the course on October 23 at the Hood Invitational in Frederick, Md.
