Cross Country Competes at CAC Championships
Frostburg, Md. – Marymount University’s men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday morning. The Saints men’s squad placed sixth of seven teams while the women’s team finished fifth.
On the women’s side, Jessica Daley was the top finisher for the Saints with a 21st place performance in 26:09.77 while Payton Bodecker was next with a time of 26:45.30 to finish 32nd.
Katie Maloney ran a 28:34.26 to place 56th and Megan McMinn placed 59th overall with a time of 20:04.45 in the 6K race. Alondra Hall finished 79th in 35:37.59 while Rachael Raske was 82nd with a time of 36:56.96 to round out the Saints scoring.
On the men’s side, Dalton Royal ran a 29:53.93 to finish 35th while Tam Nguyen was 48th with a time of 30:56.72 in the 8K event.
Kevin Farmer placed 65th in 32:24.46 and Theodore Berry was 85th in 38:28.21. Andrew Nevins and Emmanuel Wansi finished 90th and 91st with times of 40:23.00 and 43:42.78, respectively, to round out the Saints scoring.
