Arlington, Va. – Marymount University’s women’s soccer team fell 4-0 to visiting Frostburg State on Wednesday night. The Saint drop to 4-8-0 overall and 0-5-0 in Capital Athletic Conference action.
A close first half turned in favor of the Bobcats with a fluke goal in the 34th minute. With a cluster in front of the MU goal, the Saints couldn’t clear the ball before FSU could tap in the opening score.
Frostburg added another three goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half to put the game away.
Danni Bankins was credited with a pair of shots for Marymount, both on target.
Victoria Wyand collected six saves in goal for the Saints in the loss.
Marymount returns to action on Saturday at Stevenson in CAC play.
