Harrisburg, Pa. – Marymount University’s golf team finished ninth of 16 teams at the Messiah Falcon Invite with a team score of 328 on Tuesday. The Saints were just 15 strokes off the leader and the second of four Capital Athletic Conference teams competing.
Thomas Cave led the Saints with a round-low 80 while John Goulding was just behind him with an 81. Peter Johns and Mark Anthony Curtis shot an 83 and 84, respectively, to round out the scoring while Nick Ryerson carded a 95.
Playing in his first collegiate tournament, Brad Johnson shot an 85 competing as an individual.
Marymount’s 328 was 15 strokes off of Franklin & Marshall and Messiah’s 313. The Saints were the second CAC team in the standing, 11 shots off York (Pa.)’s 317 but ahead of both Stevenson (342) and Hood (360).
