Women’s Lacrosse Drops Season Finale
St. Mary’s City, Md. – Marymount University’s women’s lacrosse team dropped its season finale 17-4 to St. Mary’s (Md.) in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday. The Saints close out the season 5-9 overall and 2-6 in league play.
Stephanie Flood led the Saints with two goals while Lori Renner and Rachel Duff both added goals. Tancy Weatherford chipped in an assist for MU in the loss.
Defensively, Erika Dommes collected six saves between the pipes. Lindsay Bullock and Chelsea Ritter each caused two turnovers.
Bullock led the Saints with three draw controls and Ritter hauled in two ground balls.
Lauriann Parker paced the Seahawks with four goals while five other SMC players notched two goals each.
