Women’s Basketball Head Coach Ashlee Courter Joins Hoopsville Tonight

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University head women’s basketball coach Ashlee Courter will be a guest on tonight’s special “Selection Sunday” episode of Hoopsville, hosted by Dave McHugh of D3Hoops.com. Courter will discuss the Saints winning their 12th Capital Athletic Conference Championship and earning their 17th bid to the upcoming NCAA Division III Tournament.

The show airs Thursday and Sunday nights from 7-9 p.m. EST throughout the basketball season. There is also the special “Selection Sunday” show on February 24th that airs 6-9 p.m. EST and the special “Match-Up Monday” show on February 25th starting at 3 p.m. EST shortly after the men’s and women’s NCAA tournament brackets are announced.

Hoopsville is the only show dedicated to Division III basketball in the world. The show first hit the air in November of 2000 and this season mark’s the show tenth.

McHugh is the creator and host of Hoopsville which broadcasts out of McHugh’s personal studios in the Baltimore area. The show airs on Sundays and Thursdays from 7 – 9 PM EST and archives of each show are available for those who could not tune in while it was on the air.

Each show, McHugh talks to coaches, players, administrators, reporters or experts from around the country to take a look at the previous week of Division III basketball and what is ahead. The show also interacts with listeners through Twitter, Facebook, email and a chat room.
