Men’s Soccer Falls at Lynchburg
Lynchburg, Va. – Marymount University’s men’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at Lynchburg on Sunday afternoon. The Saints fall to 0-4 on the season.
Scoring opportunities were hard to come by as both squads got off nine shots each, with just three on target for both teams. Carlos Sanchez, Akram Bensalem and Ahmed Elmanialawy all posted shots on goal for the Blue and White.
In goal, Kurt Michaels and Logan Cropper split time between the pipes. Cropper held the Hornets scoreless the second frame and collected the only save for the Saints.
Marymount returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to Penn State Berks in non-conference action.
