New Graduate Programs at Marymount

Monday, August 09, 2010
Marymount University has added two new graduate programs in high-demand disciplines:

The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration and Policy will prepare criminal justice professionals to assume leadership roles in the field and/or continue on to earn a doctorate. The majority of the credit hours for this degree can be earned through online courses, making the program convenient for working professionals

The greater Washington, DC, region is home to thousands of nonprofit organizations. In response, Marymount now offers a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management. The program will prepare individuals for leadership positions in the rapidly growing nonprofit sector. Courses will address management, marketing, accounting, finance, fundraising, and legal issues in a nonprofit-specific context. Additionally, Marymount offers a Nonprofit Management track within its M.B.A. program. All Nonprofit Management courses and the certificate program are offered at Marymount’s Reston Center.
