Women’s Volleyball Falls in CAC Championship
Salisbury, Md. – Marymount University’s women’s volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-17) to 15th-ranked Salisbury in the finals of the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
Freshman Morgan McAlpin had another impressive postseason performance, leading the Saints with 11 kills at a .500 clip with no attack errors. She added a team-high three blocks as well.
Johanna Hummel added six kills while Emily Shultis chipped in five.
Defensively, Michelle McCormick tied a match-high with seven digs.
Ashlyn Tapley led the Sea Gulls (34-3) with 19 kills.
