Men’s Hoops Falls at Stevenson
Owings Mills, Md. – Marymount University’s men’s basketball team dropped a 66-54 decision at Stevenson in Capital Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Saints fall to 4-11 overall and 1-6 in league play.
Jesse Konadu led the Saints with 18 points while Antonio Rouse added 11 and Rich Bess chipped in 10 off the bench.
Konadu and Bess were both sharp going 8-for-11 and 5-for-9 from the floor, respectively.
Marymount outshot the Mustangs from the field but couldn’t convert as well from downtown or the charity stripe. The Saints knocked down 41.7 percent of their shots but hit just one three-pointer on the day.
Brett Burrier led the Mustangs with a game-high 22 points while Greg Collins added 18.
Marymount returns to the hardwood on Wednesday as it travels to Wesley in CAC action.
