Meghan Ganzaba graduated from Marymount in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, fulfilling a lifelong dream. She is now a nurse at the Washington Hospital Center.
Ganzaba’s dream seemed far beyond her reach when she and her husband lost their jobs in Michigan due to the economic downturn, and then lost their home. The family moved to the Washington, DC, area, where her brother is a police officer with the Washington Metropolitan Police. That move ultimately brought Ganzaba to Marymount, where she found the scholarship support to continue her studies.
