Marymount University is marching in the 2013 New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade!
For the fifth year, Marymount has been granted the prestigious honor of marching in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade, one of New York's greatest and oldest traditions. All members of the Marymount community are invited to represent the University in the parade, which honors St. Patrick and celebrates Irish heritage and the Catholic tradition.

Includes traditional Irish fare and non-alcoholic beverages.
We will walk as a group from lunch to our step off location.
Start Location and Time: 3:20 p.m., E. 48th Street between Madison and Park Avenues (start time is tentative, please see below).
Parade Details and Regulations
We will walk as a group from lunch to our step off location; if you are unable to attend the luncheon, you are still welcome to march in the parade. We will march with the parade for approximately one hour (40 blocks). Our start time is tentative; please be prepared to wait at least 2 hours before marching.
There is a very strict dress code to participate: no "wild" St. Patrick's Day clothing (ex. no green hair, crazy clothing or accessories) and no jeans. Wear comfortable shoes, not sneakers. Please no flags or banners. We will have an official Marymount University banner to march with. You will not be allowed to participate in the parade if you do not meet the dress code requirements, or if you are intoxicated.
