Marymount University's Department of Counseling, in partnership with Chi Sigma Iota, the National Honor Society in the Counseling profession, invites the entire Marymount community and the local mental health and school community in the greater Washington, DC, area to a daylong workshop with Dr. Dee Ray, nationally recognized leader in the field of Child-Centered Play Therapy.
Dr. Ray is a professor of counseling at the University of North Texas, and director of the Child and Family Resource Clinic in Denton, TX.
6 CEU's from the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) will be awarded to those completing the workshop. CEU’s are Continuing Educational Units that are required for all mental health professionals and school counselors who hold the LPC, NCC, or school counselor credentials. Marymount's Department of Counseling is an approved provider for awarding CEU’s from the NBCC.

This workshop is open to all Marymount University students, faculty, and staff; and to the mental health community, current agency and school counseling supervisors.
