Pre-Departure Resources

In preparation for your time abroad, please pay close attention to the following items:
In addition to the materials you submitted when you applied to your chosen program, upon your acceptance into your program, the Center for Global Education will reach out to you via email and request that you fill out some essential paperwork, which will vary depending on the program through which you will be studying.
For semester programs, students will be asked to fill out and sign the following four forms:
For all MU Faculty-Led Programs, students will be asked to fill out and sign the following two forms.  In addition they will be contacted by the program coordinator and asked to fill out an online health assessment survey prior to departure.
**Attendance for the full duration of each scheduled pre-departure orientation for your particular program is absolutely mandatory** It is up to the individual student to mark the designated orientation dates on their calendar as soon as they are accepted into their program and move around any conflicts they might have well in advance of the session. If, for some reason, you are unable to attend an orientation session, you must let the Center for Global Education know as soon as possible and will be asked to complete an assignment to make up the content that you missed.  Failure to complete the make-up assigment in a timely fashion will prevent you from moving forward with your study abroad experience.
