Jon Reynolds is in his eighth season as the head coach of the Marymount University men’s lacrosse team. He sits in second place on the total victories list for any coach in program history.
After taking over in 2006, Reynolds has led the Saints to a better record in each of his first five seasons. His signature win came in the 2008 season with a victory over 18th-ranked Hampden-Sydney and the Saints’ three Capital Athletic Conference wins in 2007 are tied for the most in a season since 2001. In 2012 Reynolds guided the Saints to their first CAC Tournament berth since 2008.
A four-year player for Marymount from 1997-00, Reynolds returned to his alma mater after five years as the head coach of nearby Yorktown High School. With the Patriots, he posted a .667 winning-percentage and made the regional playoffs each season. Reynolds was tabbed District and Regional Coach of the Year in 2002.
As a player for the Saints, Reynolds captained the 2000 squad that posted the program’s best record at 12-6, CAC mark at 4-2, and advanced to the semifinals of the CAC tournament. He spent the 2001 season as an assistant coach with Marymount where he helped guide the Saints to an 11-7 record, 4-2 in conference, and again advanced to the CAC semifinal game.
Tony Gray

Tony Gray enters his second year as the offensive coordinator with the Marymount University men’s lacrosse team after an accomplished career in the local coaching ranks. A two-time Division III All-American, he brings over 18 years of coaching experience to the Saints sideline. In 2012, Gray helped lead the MU offense to its third most productive season statistically since head coach Jon Reynolds took over in 2006.
Gray spent eight seasons as the head varsity coach at nearby Oakton High School while overseeing all aspects of the varsity, junior varsity and freshman programs from 2001-08. Under his tutelage, the Cougars won three consecutive State and Region titles from 2003-05 and five-straight District titles from 2001-05. Putting together a 109-35 record, Gray won more games than any other Virginia High School League AAA Northern Region program over that span and was tabbed Concorde District Coach of the Year in 2005.
While at Oakton, Gray also spent two years as the head coach of the Iroquois Nationals Under-19 team. The squad went on to finish third and earn a bronze medal at the 2008 Under-19 World Lacrosse Championships.
Prior to his time at Oakton, Gray coached on the youth level and served as an assistant coach at Marshall High School before starting the varsity program at nearby Wakefield High school for the 2000 season. With the Warriors, he went 5-8 with a team that had only four players with prior lacrosse experience. Gray collected National District Coach of the Year honors for his efforts.
A two-time All-American midfielder in 1993 and 1994, Gray earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in American Studies from Hobart College in 1995. He also played on the Iroquois National team from 1990-98, serving as a team captain for the 1998 squad.
Dave Pauletti

Dave Pauletti is in his eighth season as an assistant coach with the Marymount University men’s lacrosse team. He is one of three Saints alums on staff. His area of focus is on the defense and man down unit. In 2012, Pauletti helped lead the defense to their lowest goals against average since coming on board in 2006.
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Pauletti coached for four years at Yorktown High School under Marymount head coach Jon Reynolds. He helped the Patriots to four winning seasons, 20 First Team All-Conference players, one All-Region player and one Defensive Player of the Year in goal.
Pauletti is a 2001 graduate of Marymount where he played lacrosse for four years. He captained a squad that posted an 11-7 overall record, 4-2 in the highly-competitive Capital Athletic Conference, and an appearance in the CAC semifinal game.
Mo Lanzas

Mo Lanzas is in his fifth season as an assistant coach with the Marymount men’s lacrosse team. He serves as the goalkeepers coach for the Saints and also works with the defense and man down unit.
Lanzas was a dual-sport athlete at the State University of New York at Cortland in both lacrosse and wrestling. He was also a member of the college orchestra. Prior to his time at Cortland, Lanzas was a two-year starting goalie and captain at Howard Community College.
A local product, Lanzas attended James Madison High School in Vienna where he lettered in lacrosse, football and wrestling. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics from SUNY-Cortland in 2007.
