NOVA-MU Financial Services Course Equivalencies
NOTES:
FIN 900 is an unspecified elective that counts toward the 120 hours required for graduation. It does not, however, fulfill Marymount's Liberal Arts Core requirements.
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Marymount must complete their "specialty" courses at Marymount. Specialty courses are generally 300/400-level courses that provide more in-depth knowledge than the BBA core courses that all Marymount Business students take. Consequently, for BBA students, many of the Financial Services courses would be accepted at Marymount as unspecified elective courses. Students with significant coursework in Financial Services may wish to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Students instead of the BBA. In such cases, the Liberal Studies advisor, in consultation with the associate dean in the School of Business Administration, will evaluate a student's transcript to identify appropriate course equivalencies.
