Internships & Careers
Students complete specific field experience hours through coursework at the school in which they are currently teaching or in schools arranged by Marymount's Department of Education Office of Field Experience. MU has partner schools in the greater Washington metropolitan area, including Reston/Herndon and northern Virginia. Placements at these partner schools will help students satisfy field-hour requirements.

After graduating from the M.Ed. in Professional Studies, students are hired in educational agencies, the government, and private and international schools.

Students who are already in school settings often earn the M.Ed. to further their careers.
