Cybersecurity (M.S.)

Protect the digital world! Marymount’s Cybersecurity program prepares working professionals for high-level positions in the technology and management of cybersecurity. The program also will help you meet current professional certification requirements.
Ideally Located
Marymount is located near numerous federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, National Security Agency, and National Science Foundation. Enriching the program are faculty who are engaged in current federal government initiatives, and guest speakers who are practitioners in the field.
About the Program
This 36-credit program is approved by SACS and offered primarily online. It includes:
  • Online multimedia presentations
  • Online tools, simulations, and labs
  • Practical assignments and inquiry-based learning
The program’s final course is completed in residency in order to take advantage of the cybersecurity resources of the Washington, DC, area. You will gain hands-on practice with equipment and tools, interacting with cybersecurity experts in government.
